Aubrey Marais

I’m Aubrey Marais, a local artist born in Hout Bay. I went on holiday in Durban for 3 weeks and when I came back, my house was gone. I’m on the street now, but my heart belongs to art.

At the age of 19, I started painting as a house painter and this is where my love for art started. I will never stop. I will die an artist.

I love painting portraits and landscapes of Cape Town. My joy and journey is in art. I am also a warrior of Jesus.
